Q: What is your delivery time?
A: Please allow 14-28 days for delivery - our buildings are mostly made to order.
Q: Do you use chipboard or sheet materials on your floors and roofs?
A: No all our buildings use solid timber throughout
Q: What sort of base do you require to assemble my building onto?
A: It must be solid and level, paving slabs are ideal with no gaps in between. You can also use concrete or timber bearers running the opposite way to the floor joists so please check which way to lay them first.
Q: I have no rear entrance to my garden, will my shed fit though the house?
A: Not necessarily as some panels are bigger than a doorway but we may be able to make it in smaller sections - please let us know the maximum size available.
Q: Are your products made from sustainable materials?
A: Yes all timber is from well managed sources to meet new EU timber regulations
Q; What is the guarantee on your buildings?
A: Our manufactures supply a 12 month guarantee, as long as you keep your building well treated you shouldn't have any problems after this. But if you do you can always contact us and we will look into it for you.
Q: Do your sheds come with felt?
A: Yes they come with everything you need: felt, glass, fixings and trims.
Q: Are the timber sizes quoted finished sized?
A: Yes they are the sizes after machining - beware of suppliers who quote sizes before machining even though they buy it machined.
Q: Which way do the floor joists run on your sheds?
A: It varies depending on the size or model – please check.
Q: Will I need planning permission?
A: Planning permission may be required on larger buildings depending on size and location – please check with your local council if unsure. We may be able to make certain buildings lower to avoid planning permission if necessary. It is the customer’s responsibility to check if planning is required.
Q: What color is your treatment? Some pictures look like different colours have been used.
A: Some buildings are shown untreated, but they all come with a base coat of Shed Experts Light Brown unless stated otherwise.
Q: Which dimension is the width?
A: As a general rule the width is where the door is, except on pent roof sheds where the door can be ordered in the narrow end. If you need to clarify just ask.
Q: Do you deliver to the Isle of Wight?
A: Currently delivery is to mainland only but we are working on ways to include some Island addresses so please contact us for further information.
Q: Is buying through your site secure?
A; Yes payments are through Sage Pay and are fully secure.
